Life Update: Just keep swimming
Heeey there beautiful people,
I actually managed to survive the first day after midterm holidays and let me say: it was actually a quite productive one! Luckily there were loads of lessons with substitute teachers today as the flu seems to have found its way into the faculty room and I know this sounds horrible but I was quite thankful for that. More time to focus on more urgent project and have some time for mind wandering at home.
I also got my thesis printed and bound today! This must somehow be how authors feel like when they hold their first novel in their hands, I was so proud of myself and flipping through the pages felt amazing! I was so motivated that I started preparing my thesis presentation which is actually due in a few months, so nothing to worry about.
Got back my music test today and it's an A! Quite a tight one, but an A stays an A, am I right? Tomorrow I'll find out my physics test grade and I'm very sure that I failed this one... To be honest, I'm not fretting, the previous one went okay and I can still do an exam at the end of the year if the worst case should turn out to be true!
In terms of relationship and love: The hurricane is slowing down, sunshine is visible somewhere behind a very deep and dark forest! We might actually see each other on Wednesday and do something together, however I feel like it's going to be another sitting-next-to-each-other-and-finish-tasks type of date, but that's okay. It's senior year after all and we knew it would get hard.
On the bright side: I'm so excited for Thursday! I can sign up for the entry exams in July which I'll need to pass in order to enrol in University! Luckily you don't need to apply for my type of University, so they can't reject you. There is a 3-phase entry exam you need to pass in order to properly enrol and hopefully that's gonna work out, but things are looking gooood!
Now I really need to catch some sleep, stayed up wayyy to late yesterday texting my boyfriend (need to take advantage of his happy mood, after all!)
Keep smiling,
Julia
PS: The weather is freezing here in Austria, sunshine and spring where are you? I can't wait to dig out my blush pink spring jacket!
